China on Sunday warned of a new wave of coronavirus that might strike the country, while infections worldwide reached the limits of 700,000 cases, amid fears of a tragic breakdown in more than one country.
A spokeswoman for the National Health Commission of China said that cases of imported Coronavirus from abroad could expose the country to a new wave of outbreaks.
The committee said it had counted 45 new infections, registering a decline from 54 cases the previous day.
She explained that the new injuries are for travelers coming from abroad, with the exception of one local injury.
The Chinese authorities had taken strict measures to reduce imported cases, including suspending the entry of foreigners into the country and reducing the number of international flights.
During the past seven days, China has recorded 313 cases of infection coming from abroad, compared to six cases of domestic infection only, and most cases coming from abroad are for Chinese returning to their homeland.
Airlines were ordered to cut international flights significantly from today, and restrictions on foreigners arriving in the country began on Saturday.

Trump said imposing a complete quarantine on the New York area was an unnecessary measure. He added that he asked health officials to issue a travel warning instead, and that the measure is being imposed on New Yorkers, New Jersey and Connecticut residents.
Later, epidemic control and control centers urged residents of the three states to refrain from unnecessary internal travel for 14 days.
