WhatsApp provides Chat Rooms in a trial version of the app
The instant messaging service "WhatsApp" has announced the testing of the feature of integrating video conferences "Messenger Rooms" from Facebook in its application on the Android operating system.

According to the WABetaInfo website that specializes in monitoring experimental features in the WhatsApp application , the instant messaging service added "messenger rooms" to the beta version 2.20.163 of the WhatsApp application in the Android system , and that it is now available to specific countries and users.

The option to create a room can be accessed by clicking on the "clip" icon, which allows sharing photos, documents, and other media on WhatsApp.

Among the available options: (Room) option, and by clicking on this option the option "Follow in Messenger to create a room" appears, and by clicking on it the Messenger app opens , where you can create the room and create its link, then re-share it via WhatsApp to be sent directly to the contact Which the room was chosen for construction, according to AIT NEWS, the technical news website.

Besides incorporating (Messenger room shortcuts) into chat, WhatsApp added another shortcut to the Calls tab, which appears above the already created call option.

The social media giant announced last April the service, in addition to expanding the features of direct broadcasting across its various services, in an effort to benefit from the increased demand for group video chat services during the emerging coronary virus pandemic.

And Facebook said late last month in a statement: The service (Messenger rooms) allows the participation of up to 50 users in the call, but it will be displayed on the desktop screen only 16 participants, and 8 participants on mobile devices screens, in a design similar to what the service provides " Zoom 'competition.

The service (Messenger Rooms) is that it allows Facebook users to share links that enable non-network users to join service calls through the web browser on both desktop and mobile devices, which eliminates the need to download the application, or create an account, similar to other services.

It is worth noting that users can download the recent beta version of the WhatsApp application by signing up for the beta program on the Google Play Store.
